Getting Here

When arriving in the US Air Force Academy area by plane, the nearest major airport is the Colorado Springs Airport which is located about 14 miles from the academy. Another major airport is the Pueblo Memorial Airport which has domestic flights and is located about 41 miles from the US Air Force Academy. There is taxi service at the airport as well as bus service.

If arriving by car, exit the airport and go west on Drennan Road. Go to the 3rd traffic light and turn left onto Academy Blvd. Proceed for approximately 1.8 miles and take I-25 North. Continue northbound on I-25 to either Academy entrance. If military personnel are in need of temporary lodging, the Rampart Lodge offers temporary lodging accommodations. Pets are not allowed in the temporary lodging facility.
